The debate has been going on for years, and it’s time to make a decision. Should chiropractors be able to prescribe medicine?
It’s the question that many people have asked themselves over the past few decades. That is because many doctors in this country are opposed to these professionals prescribing medicine due to their lack of medical training.
On one side, you have those who argue that chiropractors should not be allowed to prescribe medication because they do not have any type of medical degree or license.
They also believe that fewer people would go see a family doctor if they could just visit a professional chiropractor instead for minor ailments like colds and headaches.
On the other hand, there are those who say that all licensed professionals should be given the ability to prescribe medication. They point out that chiropractors are not trained in medical school and that there is a shortage of physicians, especially primary care doctors. Many people have debated this question for years now with no real answer.
That’s because many doctors don’t believe these professionals should be able to prescribe medicine due to their lack of any type of medical degree or license.
On the other hand, others say all licensed professionals so they can provide patients with treatment options as well as save them from having to visit another office for medications – like if they just want something minor like an antibiotic prescription for an ear infection but also need their back adjusted too.
