Cats and almond milk? You may be wondering if cats can drink almond milk. The answer is yes, but there are some things you will want to consider before deciding to give your cat a glass. Almond milk contains no cow’s milk or soy so it is safe for lactose intolerant people, but what about cats?

Cats are not technically lactose intolerant, so they should have no problem with dairy products like almond milk. Almond milk is a popular alternative to cow’s milk. It contains only one ingredient which makes it easy for people with allergies and sensitivities to enjoy this drink, but what about cats?

The answer again: yes! While almond milk does not contain any of the same ingredients as a cat’s regular diet, they do have no problem drinking from their bowl once in a while. Almond milk has become more common on grocery store shelves because it provides an alternate dairy option that some people may tolerate better than other options like soy or lactose-free cow’s kinds of milk. The main concern when considering giving your cat almond milk is whether or not there are additives included in the product you choose to buy.
