Do bees fly in the rain?

This is a question that everyone has probably asked themselves at some point. The answer to this question varies depending on where you live and what type of bee you are referring to.

In this article, we will go over the different types of bees, how fast they can fly, and whether or not they can fly in the rain. When somebody is talking about bees, they are usually referring to the social bee.

This type of bee can fly at a speed of 12-16 miles per hour and it will only be able to fly in fair weather conditions because its body doesn’t have enough protection from cold or rain.

Another common type of bee that people talk about is the solitary bee. These types of bees are much smaller than their social counterpart and as such, they cannot carry pollen under their wings as other species do – this means that they must find different sources for food near where they live which may change depending on the season.

The bumblebee falls into this category and despite being larger than many solitary bees, it flies at speeds up around 15 miles per hour.
