Can bearded dragons eat potatoes?

Yes. You can feed your bearded dragon a wide variety of vegetables, but one you should always avoid is the potato.

Why? It’s because it contains solanine which is toxic to most animals including humans and reptiles.

Try spinach or kale for vitamin A, squash for Vitamin C, carrots for beta-carotene (which helps promote eye health), green peppers if he needs some extra fibre in his diet, celery or peas as a calcium source, red pepper flakes with many different minerals such as iron and magnesium.
