This is a post written by the editor of this blog on the upcoming Cambridge Institute of Allied Health & Technology’s (CIAT) upcoming training course on the “Self-Awareness: A Modern-Day Practice.” The post is a part of its “Self-Awareness 101” series.

When we think of self-awareness, most of us think of a person who is aware of the thoughts and actions of their own mind. We also think of someone that has learned to be more aware of their own actions and thoughts. That is an old approach, but I am here to say that a modern-day approach to self-awareness involves self reflection and learning from our own mistakes.
