It is difficult, at times, to find time to get into a habit of commuting. It has been proven that we will perform worse on our commute if we’ve ever been to a job in the morning. Why? Because our brains are not wired to automatically think while commuting, and our brains are not wired to be “on” until we arrive at our destination.

Business commuting is one of those habits that seems to be ingrained in most of us, but we still don’t seem to be able to change them. The good news is that there are a number of things we can do to help ourselves get into a routine of commuting.

First, it will help you if you can learn to be a good, consistent, efficient commuter. The more you do this, the better you will be at it. As a matter of fact, we have a free app called “Be a Commuter” that lets you track your commute and then compare the results to your actual commute.

We have to get to and from work every day because we work for a corporation, so commuting is the easiest thing to do.
